What are the signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome?
Signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome may be different for everyone. These can include:
- Pins and needles or numbness over the thumb, index finger, middle finger and ring finger (see diagram)
- Burning or pain in the hand
- Swelling across the palm or fingers
- Weakness in the hand
- Dropping objects frequently
